A Taste of Utopia at the Alternative Village Fete
At this year's White Nights, I'll be waxing lyrical about my vision of a utopian food system while cooking harvest inspired dishes made with local, foraged and ethically sourced dishes – cooked in real time and served as sexy canapés.
In my utopian world there is more than enough food for everyone - our food is produced locally by community supported enterprises - our food heals rather than harms us - we know the people who baked our bread - we regularly share food with people we know and don't - fruit trees line the streets and children cook the curriculum
